Ask your tax advisor about any applicable withholding and/or reporting requirements, and confirm your payroll processes are appropriately configured for tax compliance. The membership redemption information you need will be in your group hub.
When you’re ready to go live. Your monthly group membership and billing cycle will begin the day you make your purchase.
Try to pin down how many memberships your group will redeem each month, because they are pre-paid, non-refundable, and automatically renew until you cancel.
You can always buy additional memberships on a prorated basis before the end of your billing cycle or reduce your group size for the next billing cycle in the My Group Members section of your Galileo group hub.
Increases to your group size will be prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle and immediately available for redemption. Decreases to your group size will go into effect at the beginning of your next monthly billing cycle.
You’ll receive an email whenever someone redeems a Galileo membership from your group.
Yes, e.g. if they are no longer eligible or were never eligible. Removing them will inactivate their membership until they purchase a full price individual subscription. We recommend notifying a group member prior to removing them.
Yes. You can also change your secret access code at any time, whether on a regular cadence or on an ad hoc basis. We recommend changing your secret access code if you discover an ineligible person in your group.
You can invite anyone that is at least 18 years old and living in the U.S. Galileo is great for all groups, including small businesses and other organizations. If your group size exceeds 200, please reach out to support@galileohealth.com
Enter your (initial) secret access code at checkout. After completing your purchase, make the code available to eligible group members, along with the link to your group landing page. You can update the code at any time.
Once a group member has redeemed their Galileo membership, their name and email address will appear in the My Group Members section of your Galileo group hub.
Yes. After redeeming their membership, your group members can download the Galileo Health app, log in, and start chatting with our doctors to receive care.
Your group memberships will be available for redemption until the end of each monthly billing cycle. You can always update your group size if needed.
No. There’s no need for an eligibility file. Galileo will only receive identifiable information directly from group members who provide it when they redeem a membership.
Speak to your benefits counsel if you are interested in allowing employees to redeem Galileo membership in lieu of a cash equivalent (gift card, stipend, salary bonus). A simple option that maximizes flexibility while minimizing administrative burden.
