A track record of innovation.
Our team is led by best-in-class innovators in health care, technology and human-centered design. Working with leading medical experts, we’re just beginning our journey to improve the quality and affordability of health care for all. We became doctors to help people. Then we built Galileo to help us do it better.
Our Story
Galileo was founded by Thomas Lee MD, a Harvard-trained internist and pioneering innovator in health care who founded One Medical, the national leader in tech-enabled primary care, and also created the breakthrough medical reference app Epocrates.
After years of working in healthcare, we knew that the current model wasn’t just inconvenient and expensive. It was ineffective.
We re-imagined the relationship between patients and doctors, brought together an exceptional clinical team, and built next-generation technology to empower the dialog that will help people live better, healthier lives.
Our mission is to make healthcare more effective and affordable for all, including the underserved. And we’re developing technology to push the boundaries even further. This is the future of health, with you at the center.
